Reflection Statement

It is important for us as a consumer and an individual to pay attention to the fiscal and monetary
policies because it largely impacts the way we live, the way we save, the way we earn and spend
money. Fiscal policy has a lot of control on the overall process of the monetary policy, which is
why economists should pay attention to the fluctuation of such policies. Economists are in a
position to educate the government and the public as individuals and as a unit on the impact of
certain market trends and forecasts. It is easy to state that there are regulations in place to prevent
a stagnating or suffocating economy, but the policy needs to provoke and enhance the growth of
the overall economy; business relations and individual personal relations.
