Dear Supporter of the NEH School Foundation:

As many of you know, this is the first year NEHs whole grade sharing agreement with Webster
City for grades 7-12. Things are going well, not only with the sharing agreement, but also with
the elementary and new Mighty Trojan Childcare Center.
Since we no longer host sporting events, this mailing will be an essential way for the Foundation
to raise funds; our primary goal this year is to help the Mighty Trojan Childcare with expenses
related to start-up costs because attendance has been better than expected. Two rooms were
completely remodeled and are very nice. We will also continue to have scholarships for
graduating seniors who live in the NEH School District and honor our whole grade sharing
agreement with Webster City, plus we are contemplating the idea of 6th grade scholarships
when those students leave the building. We will also help with other classroom supplies as
needed. Our goal this year is to raise $16,000 and we are already over $5,000.
Due to the generous contributions over the last 11 years, the Foundation has contributed more
than $148,000 dollars to student related needs, with over $55,000 going towards scholarships!
If you are able to help us out, please make your check payable to The NEH Foundation and
return in the enclosed envelope. The Foundation will also accept gifts of investments, grain, or
as part of your estate plan. We are a 501c(3), which should allow a tax deduction on your
return. Please consult your tax advisor.
We would also like to ask that if anyone has a recent address list for their class, would you
please share that with us. (We have the class of 1975.)
