Objective / Summary

Student at State College of Florida Collegiate School, and avid worker in the childcare field
of work. Very versatile and learned through a lot of volunteering and jobs. Confident in
teaching special education kids from a young age. Desire to major in special education and
minor in early childhood educaiton.

Education

Lakewood Ranch Highschool 2012-2014

This was the first highschool I attended where I included myself in a multitude of classes
and extra curriculers. I took a year of early childhood, where I got my CPR & First Aid
Certification. I played on the JV soccer team for two years and participated in clubs like
FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and Lakewood Leaders.
GPA: 3.75
State College of Florida Collegiate School 2014-2016
I attended this school starting in my junior year. This is a collegiate program that has the
kids taking college classes at State College of Florida so they graduate highschool with
their Associates in Arts Degree. During my two years here I participated in Key Club and
the honor society (Phi Theta Kappa.)
GPA: 3.5

Experience

Live-In Nanny June/July 2013

I lived with a family and watched their three kids ages 2,4, and 6. The job included cleaning,
bathing the kids, feeding the kids, and taking them to their swimming lessons. This was just
a Summer job on Summer break away from school.
Hostess January 2014-May 2014
I was a hostess at pinchers crab shack in Lakewood Ranch Florida. This job included
seating the guests and the occasional busing of the tables.
DayCare Teacher June 2014-November 2014.
This job was at Kids R Kids Academy, a prestigious chain day care. I was the solo teacher
of the after school kindergarten class. There was 21 children under my care had many jobs
other than just surpervising. This was a full time job in the Summer and part-time during the
school year. I thought of crafts for each holiday and helped them afterschool with their
homework.
Nanny November2014-December2015
I was the nanny of a set of twins from their ages of 1 until they were a little over 2. I watched
them in their home and fed and put them down for their naps. As they got older I started
teaching them letters and colors and pushing them to color more. I enjoyed when I was able
to take them swimming and outside and helping teach them to swim and walk.
Nanny August 2015-December 2015
I took care of a beautiful 9 month old baby. I took care of her until she was almost one years
of age. I started her on baby food, so I was able to hands on learn how to transition children
into eating baby food. She took two naps a day that I had to warm up her breast milk and
rock her to sleep. We enjoyed many morning walks!
Childcare Worker October2015-December2015
I worked at Bayside Community Church as a childcare worker almsot 5 nights a week. This
includes ages 2 months-10 years of age. We watched them and kept them entertained
while their parents were in a multitude of different events at the Church.

Honors / Activities

Phi Theta Kappa 2014-2016

This is State College of Floridas honro society. You get this for recieving a 3.5 or higher.
This society is invite only
Key Club 2014-2016

This club meets every Friday morning. It is a group of students that look for volunteer
opportunites in the community for the students to obtain their hours.
Childcare Volunteer 2012-2016
I volunteered at my church for many years in the childcare department. I volunteer there
every Saturday night in the infantree room with the children under the age of one. I watched
the kids while their parents were in service.
