Field Experience 1

John Rennie High School

23/11
First period begins with all students rising for the national anthem, they are
seated for the morning announcements. The first class of the day begins. If
students are not in the classroom by the time the national anthem is done,
they are considered late and must get their agenda stamped at the office to
be let in to the classroom.
The Sports-Etudes program runs from 8am to 12pm daily, with students
attending intensive courses in the morning and practicing their individual
sports and/or training in the afternoon.

Various English courses have started with individual, silent reading followed
by a lesson and an activity.
Resource Room
Open to all students, works on a basis for those who need help the most. It is
a quiet space away from the business of the school and is especially useful
for those students who find themselves faced with learning or behavioral
difficulties.

It is a gift to be comfortable in the classroom. Huntley Addie (English)

Teacher A allows the students to explain their current project to myself and
my colleagues. A few of them decide to present their work in funny ways that
tends to poke fun at themselves. The teacher takes a step back to point out
that being funny is good, but avoiding diminishing your work is more
important. He explains that giving themselves credit and being confident
about what they have done will only make them stronger students/people in
the future.
