Objective
I wish to work as an ASL/English Interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing. I am a senior in the
interpreting program at Western Oregon University and have a minor in Special Education. I aim to
provide access for both deaf and hearing consumers in a wide range of settings. I plan on receiving
my NIC certification as well as passing the EIPA with a 4.0 or above to obtain employment within
educational settings after I graduate.
