Dear Sir/Madame:
I am a student of the Naparima College student body and I wish to express
my interest in Cowen Hamilton Secondary Schools involvement in an event which
we are hosting. The Naparima College gaming club has organized a gaming
tournament and we are kindly asking your permission for students of your
prestigious academic institution to participate in our event.
The event would be comprised of five (5) games in which various schools will
compete in. The purpose of this gaming tournament is to show that the social skills
students acquire while gaming can help them to relate to outside the gaming
environment, as reiterated in the quote by the American Psychological Association:

...we propose that gamers are rapidly

learning social skills and prosocial behavior
that might generalize to their peer and family
relations outside the gaming environment...i
So in closing I wish to state that it would be an honour to have Cowen
Hamilton Secondary School participate in our activity and would like to thank you
