Benefits

Accelerates quickly
Stable structure
Low maintenance
Easy to use
Fast construction
Can carry a total of 250 grams!
Can travel at the shocking speed of 3.13 mph!

Efficiency
The Legally Blind Mobile is very environmentally
efficient.
It runs completely on the power of rubber bands, so it
releases no harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
No expensive gas required!
It also can successfully carry half its weight 5 meters.
Its cost effective.
It only costs around $10.

Building Log
We spent 4 days planning and building the car.
We spent the next 3 days trying to perfect our
car and getting it to travel exactly 5 meters. For
the last few days, we worked on the
calculations and this presentation.

Time vs Distance

This graph
shows the time
our car took to
reach 5 meters.

Velocity vs Time

This graph
shows the
velocity of our
car relative to
the the time it
took to reach 5
meters.

Distance vs Velocity
This graph shows the
average velocity at
each meter. The
graph line quickly
grew because the
rubber band. Once
the rubber bands
uncoiled the car
slowed to a complete
stop.

Energy vs Time

There is a dip in
the thermal energy
at 1.5 seconds. This
was caused by a
calculation error
on our part. It
should not be
there because this
dip shows that
there was an
outside force when
there was not.

Just So You Know

The braking system is nonexistent so you should know
EXACTLY how far you need to go
You need to wind up the rubber bands before every use
The rubber bands may break but they cost about 5 cents
to replace
