PLP Peer Review Response
The peer review for the PLP helped improve my draft in numerous ways. Firstly, I was
given a great amount of positive feedback from my peers. They wrote down and verbally stated
how they enjoyed several well written portions of my paper so far. Secondly, they suggested
some things they would do differently had they written the paper themselves. This gave me
constructive criticism and allowed me to better judge my writing. Thirdly, my peers explained
what parts of my paper needed work. They pointed out choppy word choice, repetition,
redundancy, and/or just poor detail. Lastly, they rated my paper based off of development, focus,
organization, and audience awareness so that I could see which of these needed more work.
Overall, the peer review was extremely helpful and I enjoyed socializing with my fellow
classmates.
