Senior Digital Exploration Judges

10800 Highway 707
Murrells Inlet, SC 29577
Dear Judges:
Hello, my name is Amber Linsig, I am 18 years old and I am a senior at St. James High
School. I am an early January completer, after graduation I plan on going to college at Horry
Georgetown Technical College for two years in the fall of 2016. I am planning on taking an
early child care program. After College I want to be a daycare teacher because Im great with
kids, I have experience with babysitting kids when my cousins were little I would babysit
them for my cousin. I have experience with changing diapers, feeding kids, getting them to
take naps, playing with them, etc. I am an aunt of a 1 year old her name is Emma Ossman
and I babysit her for my older sister Kayla Linsig every other Saturday and Sunday. Im
originally from New York and Ive been to two high schools Saugerties High School and St.
James High school. when I first moved here to south Carolina I was 15 years old and starting
my sophomore year at St. James High School. It was scary at first going to a new school and
being a new student I didnt know anyone but I got use it after a few weeks. St. James has
made me a better person Ive met new people Ive made better friends and being at St. James
was better for me because with the disability that I have, I learned that I need help. My IEP
gives me accommodations where I get extra help and extra time on assignments. My Feelings
on graduation is that Im nervous but then again Im ready to walk across the stage and
graduate and take a new step toward my new life.

What motivated me to choose cyberbullying was watching what pain my friends were going
through and seeing how bad it was to be cyberbullied and being told that youre worthless.
Useless, ugly, weird, Etc. Cyberbullying has made an impact on me because one point in my
life when I was younger in middle school I was cyberbullied I was told that I was worthless,

useless, ugly and nobody liked me. My friend Tyler Williams gets cyberbullied, he gets told
that hes gay, a fag, ugly, worthless, useless, a faggot, Etc. What Ive learned in the research
process is that nobody likes to get cyberbullied, nobody likes being called worthless, useless,
ugly, gay, a faggot, Etc. and if somebody does that to you doesnt mean its right to do it to
somebody else. This has helped me during the product phase by seeing that its not right to
cyberbully someone just because youve been cyberbullied.
The process of Senior Exploration was like for me was it was hard at first but, then going
further into it started to get easier and easier. The obstacles that Ive faced were making
sources, typing papers, making sure they made sense, Etc. The accomplishments that Ive had
were finding articles to make sources, doing great on papers, handing papers in on time, etc.
The Effects that Ive had of my senior year were good things like Ive met some great new
people, Ive made new friends, Ive got to have a couple of months of my senior year with
my best friend, I got to see some friends again for one last time, and Im glad I got to see all
of them one last time before I finish in January.
Thank you ladies and gentleman for your participation in my Senior Project. Thank you for
sharing your time to come and listen to my Senior Exploration and thank you for coming to
view my portfolio.
Sincerely,
Amber Linsig
