CREDENTIAL PROCESS
Credential Application
The application for media credentials will open
on July 1, 2016 at 6 a.m. at www.franklincollege.
edu/2016debateapp/.
No other forms of application will be accepted.
Those who wish to receive a media credential for
the Sept. 5 debate will submit an application no later
than Aug. 15, 2016 at 5 p.m. No late applications are
accepted.
Credential pick-up notices or credential denials will
be sent to each applicants email address by Aug. 19,
2016 at 5 p.m.

Credential Pick-Up
Media credentials can be picked up at Franklin
College during one pick-up event:
Sept. 4, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Spurlock Center Information Desk, Front Lobby
All credential recipients must show a valid, stateissued photo identification before receiving
credentials.

Day of Debate
The Presidential Debate between the Democratic and
Republican nominees will be held in the gymnasium
of the Franklin College Spurlock Center, located on
Faught Street on the college campus.
Media are permitted to enter Spurlock Center at 1
p.m. the day of the debate and will have all day access
through the end of the debate. Credentials permit
media to remain in the center for up to two hours
after the debate ends.

General Information
All credentialed media will have access to the press
room, located in Room 204 above the gymnasium.
Wireless Internet access, desks, and work space will
be provided. Franklin College will provided only a
limited number of laptop computers for media use.
