Tatyana Aponte OX HRI 105 cert 9/25/13 { \ 3 Day Food Diary For this assignment I decided to record everything | ate from Sunday to Tuesday. On Sunday Thad breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and was at work for most of the day. So Sunday Started off cating pancake with jelly like I usually do. For lunch, since I work at a movie theater I ended up eating foods like popeom and pizza, and drinking soda, I was home for dinner that day, but I mother did not cook so I had a convenience meal and my midnight snack was apples slices, } (ondary: SSS at 9:00 am but I running late so I only had time to grab a package of Gs ——— fries, a hamburger, and iced tea, and I ate dinner when I got home 0 } -S from class. My mother cgéked that day so Thad some fried plantains with white rice and Aw » / sausage. Then I we ‘o dance class, did some homework, and later that night I had a devil's food me chocolate milk. Tuesday, I didn’t have class tll 1230 so I had time to eat some pancake with jelly for breakfast, and after class I had the same thing I had for lunch the day before, except this time I also had a chocolate muffin. When I got home from class at 9:00 pm I had some lemonade. AsT was filling out my food diary, I noticed several patterns. For example, when I'm Stressed out I fend not to eat a lot; and what I do eat is very similar to fast food. I also eat a lot more when I'm at work during the weekend, than when I have school during the weekdays. I'ma very big fan of consistency and that’s why I tend to eat alot of the same foods every day. For example, I almost always have pancake for breakfast, and if'I'm at school it's almost always fries Tatyana Aponte HRI 105 972513 and a hamburger for lunch. Most of the time I’m on the go and I don’t like having to think too much about what I’m going to eat, so I always resort back to what’s familiar to me. Keeping a record of all the food I’ve been eating for the past three days didn’t really affect how or what I was eating, I wanted to be as honest as possible because I want to change my bad eating habits. Likewise, I barely had time to think about what I was svn Gama all of my assignments for all my classes, that keeping this record had absolutely no influence over my eating habits. In addition, 1 also noticed that if someone were to read my food diary it seems like I don’t drink a lot of fluids. However, most of the time I just drink water so I hope that is enough to keep my fully hydrated. Likewise, I think if I put more time into making meals for myself then I ‘wouldn't have to resort to pancakes, fries, and hamburgers every day. I definitely want to start teaving time for myself over the weekend to prepare food that I can bring to school to eat. By doing this I will not only have a more nutritious diet but Ill also save a lot of money. I also need to start eating more vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Barely do I ever eat vegetables and therefore I missing out on a lot important nutrients.
