Student Teacher Final Evaluation

Mr. Charles Moore
The best word to describe the teaching ability of Mr. Charles Moore is
outstanding. From the mastery of his subject area, the skill and ease of his class
delivery, to the caring and concern for his students, a person would have difficulty
finding an area where Charles does not demonstrate the necessary skills needed to be a
quality educator.
Mr. Moores American History assignment had him teaching to many academic
abilities at the freshmen level. Charles was effective and successful in working with
students with special needs in his inclusion hour. Charles was conscientious of his
students and following their IEPs. Mr. Moore was committed to the requirements
expected of him in order to help those who struggle academically. Comments made by
educators noted the skill and effectiveness Charles had for his students and classes.
This was made possible only by careful, advanced planning of the many different
procedures he used throughout the semester.
American History classes allowed Charles to attempt many teaching styles while
in the classroom. As an instructor, Mr. Moore was instrumental in articulating clear
goals for his students. Daily, Charles posted his agenda and expectations to ensure his
students were aware of his expectations. Cooperative learning was a style that Charles
found great success as his groups were carefully planned and organized. Charles also
demonstrated technology skills within the classroom, in many lessons, Charles
incorporated the Smart board and United Streaming to help students better connect to
his lessons.
In addition to finding success in the classroom, Charles made strong connections
outside of the classroom as well. Charles was hired as an assistant Junior Varsity
football coach. In addition to coaching, Charles supported his students by chaperoning
dances and attending plays and musicals. This extra effort made by Charles was
recognized by students and staff alike.
The poise, self-confidence and maturity of this young man has created an
enriching role model for our student to follow. This acceptance from the students is also
shared by the entire faculty, who consider Charles as an equal member of their staff.
It is without hesitation, that I feel Mr. Charles Moore has demonstrated to the
fullest the instructional, managerial, and decision making-skills necessary to be an
outstanding instructor.

Respectfully Yours,
