The authority persuasion is usually the most persuasive to me.

Nothing like listening


to an authoritative figure because many believe those people know what theyre
talking about. I remember when my friend, Emily, would do me a favor by taking to
lunch when I had no money last semester. Over the summer, she asked if I could
drive her to the food store and drive her to uptown Charlotte. Both times I said yes
without even thinking about the favors she did for me months before. I guess
people are more incline to say yes to a request if a favor is owed. I dont believe in
the consensus part of persuasion because I usually dont come across signs that
point to what other guest have done in the hotel or chosen setting. Then again,
maybe I have done those things without realizing it.
