    This study examined how soil management and landscape variability impacted cotton productivity across fields. Researchers divided fields into management zones based on soil data and tested different nutrient applications. They found that adjusting fertilizer rates based on soil type within each zone significantly increased cotton yields compared to uniform application. Tailoring soil management to variable field conditions can improve crop performance.
