Drug Free Me!

Lesson 6 of 6
By: Mitch McFall
This final lesson is the Unit Exam, and it covers the
material from this entire unit. This lesson will take the entire
class. The purpose behind this assessment is to determine
whether or not each student has learned what they need to from
this unit. The included exam is merely a guideline, and changes
can and should be made to adapt to your students needs and
abilities.
I really like having brief tests like this for students, where
some questions are material based, looking for a specific answer,
and some are more analysis based, where critical thinking is
necessary for a proper grade. For the essay question, students
should use reasoning skills, as well as their information from the
presentations, to create a valid argument for their case.
The extra credit is also a hypothetical question pertaining to
the TV show Breaking Bad, and I would feel bad when students
no longer understand the reference.
Down time after students complete the exam should be
used for productive coloring, or other assignments that need to
be done.
A final unit WDYL should be done after the test, just as a
self-reflection on what you taught the students during the unit.
