A visit of CEO BSP was conducted on 8/3/15 (Sunday) at about 11.30 am to 1.30 pm at our chandrapur site. An observation of high dignity was mainly concentrated on civil work and specially for slow progress of ECR (Electrical Control Room). He emphasized to introduce additional civil agency to meet the required schedule. It is a well known fact that after lots. of help to our existing agency M/s Vijay R. Ghate, he has submitted a letter of closure of his contract and shown his inability to take up the work further. We have tried lots of agencies in the past, but they have escaped by this way or that and were not interested to work at ‘chandrapur. M/s Steel Tech Engineering Construction is already working as our structural agency and submitted his willingness to take up the civil work. ‘As per the present situation, the civil work requires boost up by deploying additional ‘manpower, so that required schedule can be achieved with full satisfaction to our client, The ECRis a 5 storied building which shall involve lots of time for its completion. Initially we lhave awarded 600 MT quantity to the agency, since structural erection work shall be taken up by only one agency to avoid mismatch and front related problems. Hence the balance quantity may please be awarded to the same agency for smooth running of erection work. Initially the [quantity awarded was only 500 MT, now it is recommended to award the balance quantity of 1200 MT. We haven't awarded the cladding work to any agency. Its feasible to award the cladding work to the same agency who is already working as our erection agency. Work is held up due to non cooperating behavior of existing civil agency and our erection work sometimes stand stil for want of leveling. One JCB is required to neutralize this problem.
