1. Arkansas State keeps the lights on for students to have extra time to crunch in studying
for finals! Arkansas State loves the mentality of grades come first!
2. The freedom of speech is being stretched on 11/17/2016 at the Arch on campus when a
group o individuals
3. ASU has its goals and accomplishments and both were met when the announcement of
ASUs retention rate being at its highest ever this year. The value that brings and shows
the community will do nothing but uplift spirits and pack pride.
4. University Police Mourns as they get used to the loss of one of their dear friends and coworkers. This isnt an easy day at all for the university, but unity of everyone on campus
will cushion this loss for the most part.
5. The hammock club is operational and will be up and going and the leisure of the students
that are involved in it. The school is now undergoing the process to allot space on campus
for hammock farms to be utilized.
6. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra set to play at the Fowler Center this upcoming
Friday! Dont miss out on a once of a lifetime performance of amazing Orchestra led by
five year-long coach and leader Phillip Mann!
7. St. Jude is selling barbecue plates that will come in during dead day of finals that will
benefit the kids of the hospital fight against cancer. Proceeds go directly to the hospital.
8. Students asked for it, So SGA is discussing the addition of ice machines to residence halls
all around campus to help the students feel more at home and have ease at having things
that they would normally have at home.
9. SGA passes legislation to have condoms and tampons sold with your college flex money!
You can use this as a huge example of progress Arkansas State has had with the intention
to promote safe sex.
10. Precautions to make sure the room in the union allotted for the technology room is the

best one possible. The room will consist of many eye catching devices that will motivate
students to come to the room and socialize with students.
