CCY Point Calculations

Initial Point Totals:

Grade Level (12,11,10, or 9) + Number of years in Y&G (4,3,2, or 1) =
Starting Amount of Points
Ex. Seniors in 4th year of Y&G 12+4=16
Point Changes:
Late (-1)
Phone taken away (-1)
Moved by Nathan during meeting (-1)
Unexcused Absence (-2)
Failure to register for something on time (-3)
Missing a conference (-4)
For both being late and absences, you will be marked late or absent until
you turn in an Late/Absent slip. These will be made available to you at
every meeting. If you feel you are marked incorrectly for something, you
can notify an officer and we will address the issue.
*Point values are subject to change. Other point changes may be added as
the year progresses, but no one will be penalized for anything that happens
prior to an announcement of a new point change. This is a new system, so
we will be working out the kinks through direct experience.*
