The Hilarious Jimmy Fallon Visits Ellen! Youtube. N.p., 21 Mar. 2011.

Nov. 2015. <https://youtu.be/k0kwsAqxfAE>.
This video shows more of Jimmy Fallons humor than Ellens. On
the show he sometimes dresses up as women, but he actually did it in
Glamour magazine. He does not explain why he did it, but I think that
adds to the humor. You want to know why he did it but its not the
number one thing on your mind. The context is that it was an interview
of Jimmy Fallon on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The purpose is to show
an example of Jimmy Fallons humor and how he shows it in the real
world. The audience is the same as my paper: young adults who are
interested in talk shows. This will be in a paragraph explaining what
kind of humor Jimmy Fallon has and why people find him funny.

This website shows that the picture that Ellen DeGeneres
tweeted the night of the Academy Awards with all the A-listers had
broken the internet. People who retweeted werent just celebrities,
they were normal, everyday people that love Ellen and love what shes
doing. The context of it is at the 2014 Academy Awards, where Ellen
was doing an impromptu selfie with Bradley Cooper. Every other
celebrity in the area got in. The purpose is to show how insanely
popular Ellen DeGeneres is. The audience is the same as my paper:
young adults who are interested in talk shows. One question I want to
explore in my paper is whether this picture broke the internet
because of solely Ellen, or because of everyone who was in this one
picture.
Tolson, Andrew, ed. Television Talk Shows: Discourse, Performance,
Spectacle.
Mahwah: Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, 2001. Print.
This is a book analyzing how talk shows work and what elements
work and what elements dont work so well. The context is what makes
a talk show a talk show. It has stories from talk show hosts about what
went wrong and how to make it turn around. The purpose of this
particular source is to have an outside perspective of talk showsnot
just my perspective. The audience is the same as my paper: young
adults who are interested in talk shows. I can talk about how each talk
show incorporates what the book says about what a talk show its. This

source will probably be more in the beginning of the paper than the
end of the paper.
