In this class I learned that meditation and yoga are very helpful
with relaxation and focus. By meditating and doing yoga your body
naturally feels better and learns to let go of stress, distress, and
problems. Meditation allows for your body to catch up and feel present
not running a million miles per second which is extremely important to
me.
In life when someone is arguing with you or you are confronted
with a problem there is a stress and heavy feeling, by taking a step
back and using breathing techniques it will make it easier to calm
down and not let yourself get to the point of complete upset. Also in
life yoga is helpful when I rock climb it helps me be able to reach
higher and move more fluidly up the wall.
I intend to continue exercising by snowboarding and rock
climbing, in the winter I rock climb at momentum where there is free
yoga with your membership. I would love to start attending the yoga
classes at momentum. When I went home for thanksgiving I had
noticed that I needed yoga, or I felt like my body needed class this is
why I will keep attending yoga. When I dont exercise I lose focus, it
helps me with my self-esteem and feeling better when I fall. I had
noticed this past weekend when I was snowboarding I got knocked
down and my shoulder hurt for a day. The last time I fell down it hurt

for weeks and I had to go to the chiropractor. I have noticed that since I
started doing yoga I havent had to go see my chiropractor really at all.
I am so glad that I took this class, it is easy to do while you are
camping, hiking, or just sitting at home, they are easy exercises that I
could do for the rest of my life.
