John Guthrie
Idaho Department of Fish and Game
324 S. 417 E., Suite 1
Jerome, ID 83338

Dear John:
I am applying for the Wildlife Technician job posting. I am very interested in this job
and hope you take a look at my resume.
I feel I would be a great candidate for this job because, I love to work in the
outdoors and I love working with wildlife. I have a huge passion to work for the Fish
and Game after I graduate and I believe this is where it all starts. Also what make
me a good candidate for this job, is that I worked this same position last summer. I
really enjoyed the job that I had and the experience that I got out of this job. I
believe that I worked very hard at this job and that I have a higher knowledge for
the position than other candidates will.
I learned many things while working this job. I learned to take data, good notes,
and how to enter data into the computers. I also gained very high knowledge on elk
and deer that I worked with over the summer. I learned where to be and at what
time to be there to successfully haze off the big game and do my job right. I have a
high knowledge for big game animals, which helps me make my job successful. I
also helped out at the Hayspur Fish Hatchery in Picabo, ID. I did some spawning of
fish and other jobs as well. Im a very hard worker and think I would fit in great for
this job.
I hope that you will consider my application and resume that is attached. I look
forward to hearing from you and hope to be able to contribute to your job for the
Idaho Fish and Game.

Sincerely,

Colton Baratti
