Self Reflection and Evaluation

Name: Maddie Funderburg

One thing I learned about my teacher-self during this project:
During this project, I learned the importance of effective planning and
researching ways to successfully integrate two subjects into one cohesive unit. I
also introduced a writing component, which, if time allowed, could be expanded to
include larger literacy goals.
One goal I have for improving my teacher-self:
After completing this assignment, I would like to continue to include more of a
global perspective in my lesson planning and instruction. It is important for me to
evaluate my students cultures and backgrounds and include those as a focal point
in my lessons. If I were to actually teach this unit, I could change the
country/countries in the lesson plant outlines to match students cultural
backgrounds.
