Activities
Gather students on the carpet. I stuck
some pictures for my students about UAE
in past and present. So students can
remember the lessons that they took
about UAE in past and present.
Students were asked to talk about these
pictures.
Then students were asked to compare
between buildings today and in the past to
help them understand the idea for the
main activity.
Activities (include groups/differentiation)
Teacher grouped students in twos and
then I explained the activity. Which was
creating a poster about UAE in the past
and present. It was sort of comparing.
Students were given A3 poster and colors.
Some pictures were posted on the board
to help them draw and understand better.
They had to write two sentences about
their drawings.

their work in front of their classmates so
they can exchange their ideas and
thoughts about UAE in the past and
present.

Assessments- I will question them during

the lesson. And I will observe them while
they are working. As they are presenting I
will check their understanding of the
lesson and I will check if they used the
vocabulary I taught them.
Revise the difference of UAE today and in
the past.
