What is the meaning of a building? Building is a comparatively constant

covered built on the land that have place to protect from rain and have a view
that can see through and it mostly more than a level to use of many activities
such as living, pleasurable or work. Dubais Burj Khalifa and New Yorks
Empire State Building are one of the well known buildings in the world. Both
building were categorizez as one of the top 100 tallest structure in the world.
There are three types of differences between these two buildings, such as
location, height and concept.2
First, the Burj Khalifa and the Empire State Building are located in
different place. Burj Khalifa was built in 2004 and it takes 1320 million minutes
opened or 6 years after. Before they established this monument, the land was
a desert. Its located just off Sheikh Zayed Road in Downtown Dubai, United
Arab Emirates. Its near by Dubai Mall, the worlds largest shopping mall in the
world, Dubai Fountain, international schools and others. However, the Empire
State Building was built at Fifty Avenue in New York City, United States of
America. Macys, Herald Square and Bryan Park are near this structure by
walking distance. , The Empire State Building get their first visitor in 1931. Its
a place that tourists must go to when visiting New York City.
Second, the height of these two buildings can be compare to each
other. For Burj Khalifa, it is the highest building in this planet. With the height
of 828 meter, there are two ways to reach the top level, level 163. Firstly, we
can climb 2909 step of stairs and the second way is that they also provided
the fastest lift in the world that can travel to10 meters per second. Its also built
on 5 million square feet of land, same size of a 700 ft football pitch. Looking at
the Empire State Building, it is the 22 nd highest building in the world. The

height difference between these two structures is 385 meter high. Its total
building height is 443 meter high. Additionaly, the Empire State Builfiding have
less floor levels than Burj Khalifa, more specifically 61 less levels. It has 102
floor levels in total. Moreover, the number of stairs that we need to step up
until the top level is 1576, 1333 lesser than the tallest building in the world.
The Empire State Buildings land size is also smaller than Burj Khalifas land.
Its land area is 2.77 million square feet.
Every building in this world must have a concept. If they dont have a
concept, the building can be design by architecture. In Burj Khalifa four
architects were involve in the design of the structure that symbolizes the
Hymenocallis flower. The blossom petal has protutrute of its trunk represent
the wing of tower spread out from its middle core. When you come inside this
building, the contrast of old and new Arabian tradition has design for whole
entire building. Even though they live in modern time, but they never forget
their tradition. Also this building use natural energy. They use solar energy to
heat up the water per day to whole tower in reduce the amount of energy.
How about the Empire State Building? The architect for this building got an
idea from a pencil. Its like nonsense to us. But its true. Its because the shape
look like pencil that came fro the architect mind. To get along with the new era
they renovate to look make it higher. Its look old but its never old to see it.
In conclusion, location, height and concept are the three differences
between the Burj Khalifa and the Empire State Building. Burj Khalifa had
competed to win the title of the tallest building in the world and had win. Even
though the Empire State Building is not the tallest, it is still a well know

building with a good history and concept. Both buildings are well known for
their design and history. It is not all about the height to be a famous building.
