1. Centralpoint
Functionality : Centralpoint is a viable and intelligent alternative to sharepoint, and empowers
organizations to leverage shared service, to centralize and re use their technology. It redefines 'content',
'assets', 'users' and 'portals', displacing many of the cobbled together applications in use today,
replacing them with one.

Centralpoint is an omnichannel communication platform which manages all aspects of your B2B2C. It
then harvests users' activity C2B2C returning you live Business intelligence. Centralpoint is also an
ecosystem, built horizontal, yet enjoys early market adoption in many verticals like Healthcare, Media,
Manufacturing, Government, Publishing.
How does centralpoint work ? Oxcyon will develop a project plan, leveraging rich functionality from the
module gallery online round your timelines to deliver a project on time, on budget, and hopefully...with
more functionality than you set out to have.

Evaluation report :
There are some issues with how some of the forms were dealt with, and also the members integration
in .com. With the .net version there are more questions sometimes to get to where you want.
Also, the setup of .net allows unified login, and access to whatever modules you can dream up (bulletin
board / newsletter / etc.). A 'my profile' screen could have the ability to not only update their profile,
but also to add news / events / classifieds / etc.
For .net - It's good to use. You can move the module fields wherever you want, and all the functions
(print / comment / share / rate / email / etc.) are done as standard scripts... It is easy to make a form
that posts to a module, or to a web based database, or any number of things. It's a little more work than
in .com sometimes, but the initial template is predefined when you create a module (like news / events
/ etc.)
Judging from their site, it seems to be a lot of sales oriented language. If the company also uses its own
product.

1. Google Apps for Work/Business

Functionality: "Google Apps for Work (formerly called Google Apps for Business) is a content
management system existing of cloud computing productivity and collaboration software tools and
software offered on a subscription basis by Google. It consists of Googles popular web applications
including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Hangouts, Google Calendar, and Google Docs. While these
products are available to consumers free of charge, Google Apps for Work adds business-specific
features such as custom email addresses at your domain (@yourcompany.com), at least 30 GB of
storage for documents and email, and 24/7 phone and email support. As a cloud computing solution, it
takes a different approach from off-the-shelf office productivity software by hosting customer

are located within companies. According to Google, more than 5 million organizations around the world
use Google Apps, including 60 percent of Fortune 500 companies." (Wikipedia, 2015)

on a 5 star scale. Reviews praise Google Apps for its competitive pricing, all-inclusive suite offering, easy
