Alcohol

And its Effects on

Society
Alcohol has a strong effect on people and we have a hard time managing and understanding what it can do. People drink to relax
from a stressful day, celebrate an event, and to socialize with others. Alcohol effects individuals differently and depends on how
much they drink, how often they drink, family history, health, and age. Upon the first sip of alcohol it enters your blood stream and
its effects can appear within a few minutes. The more an individual drinks the higher their blood alcohol concentration
and the
more they become impaired with slurred speech, reduced inhibitions, risky behaviors, etc.
