- State University of New York at Cortland, Anticipated Graduation in December 2015, Bachelor of
Science degree, major in Childhood Education with a Concentration in Social Sciences.

Field Experience:
Cincinnatus Central School District, Cincinnatus Elementary School, grade 2, September 2015 through
December 2015, 109 hours by December 11th.

I observed in the classroom, helped when needed, and corrected papers. I also would conduct
small lessons and read alouds. During math, I worked with small groups.

Kappa Delta Pi honor society
o As a member of the honor society, we regularly put on events for the Cortland
community such as Literacy Nights, Kids Night Out, and many more. I am currently
Treasurer.
SUNY Cortland Education Club
o Through participating in the education club, we host events such as a Halloween Party, a
Literacy Night, events at Lime Hallow, among others for the Cortland community. I am
currently Historian.
Mentor through Cortland Prevention Resources September 2013 through December 2014.
o I was a volunteer mentor for three students from the Cortland Community every Tuesday
at a program called Homework Help. I would tutor them in subjects they needed help
with as well as work on organizational skills.
Peer tutor at the Academic Support and Achievement Program office in SUNY Cortland
o I am a peer tutor for courses required by the childhood education major, for example
math and science courses.
