Preamble: Whereas the Fiscal Cliff Crisis facing the United States Government today needs
immediate attention and the budget needs to be balanced, and since the US National Debt
currently exceeds 18 trillion and is predicted to reach 19 trillion in 2017 equivalent to the
predicted National GDP in 2017 and the current yearly deficit is 433 billion and since
currently we have more programs then we have the money to support, Our Social Security
is in trouble, and since today Social Security takes 48.56% of 2.45 trillion dollars spent on
Mandatory Spending, by year 2034 Social Security is predicted to become insolvent.
SECTION 1: Cut Discretionary Spending 1% each year until federal spending equals
federal income.
Sub-SECTION A: This 1% may be cut anywhere within Discretionary
spending that congress sees fit. This is not a 1% cut accost the board.
SECTION 2: Privatize Social Security
Sub-SECTION A: If we transition to eliminate 50% of Social Security .6
trillion dollars will be saved each year at its current rate.
Sub-SECTION B: 50% of Each individuals payroll taxes will be diverted
away from Social Security trust funds and placed into individually controlled
retirement accounts to invest, giving back the control to the individuals
retirements, and the other 50% into Social Security.
SECTION 3: Transition to Privatization of Social Security
Sub-SECTION A: In order to transition to this every year and
not leave people without retirement money each individuals will put 2% more
of there Payroll Taxes into retirement accounts instead of Social Security each
year until it is 50% in each.
SECTION 4: Education for effected citizens of Privatizing transition.
Sub-SECTION A: To educate citizens for this transition a public
government web-site will be provided with all relevant information for
individuals to understand the transition and a flier will be mailed to all
citizens being effected with basic information and the link to this web site.
