Final Writing Assignment
Three of the things I want to improve are my poor listening skills, difficulty understanding the
nonverbal communications of others, and accepting feedback.
Some of the concepts we learned in classes about poor listening, understanding the nonverbal
communication and accepting feedback are to improve your listen comprehension skills,
empathic listening skills and be critical listener. The concepts to trying to understand the
nonverbal commination is look for dimensions of meaning is nonverbal messages use effective
strategies for interpreting nonverbal messages and be aware of limitations when interpreting
nonverbal messages.
My weaknesses are my poor listening skills, difficulty understanding the nonverbal
communications of others, and accepting feedback. My poor listening skills is one of my
weakness because I tend to get distracted by things other things that going on and I dont pay
attention. My second weakness is my nonverbal communication of others and the reason for that
is I not patient enough to try to understand the behaviors of others. My third weakness is not
accepting feedback to well because I always think I am right and dont want to listen to what
others have say.
My weaknesses are the same as above. I want to improve all my weakness and accomplish them
by using the techniques and skills Mr. Reiher has tough us in class. The reasons why I want to
improve my weakness are because I never knew I had a problem with my behavior and attitude
towards others or within myself until I toke this class I have learned that I have to improve my
weakness so I can be a better person to understand others.\
