Throughout my time at Emory & Henry College I learned a number of skills

and techniques to writing, editing, and reporting the news. Along with this I
was able to produce a number of successful pieces of journalistic writing,

In this course I learned the basics to journalistic writing. This course

taught how to properly write different types of stories, such as
features, hard news vs. soft news, and online writing styles.

August 2015-December 2015

Throughout this course I focused on online writing and how to take

previously printed stories and transcribe them into stories for the
web. This proved as a new and fresh way to report the media, which
is becoming increasingly vital in todays media.

stories to the campus newspaper to be published. I have been
