Letter of Transmittal

Alexander Tischner
Final e-portfolio
English 1010

The target audience for my narrative essay perhaps was for not only my
classmates and teachers, but I feel I myself enjoyed it the most. I never wrote
about my experience abroad in Taiwan, so writing my true feelings really meant a
lot to me. My rhetorical analysis was meant for those who care about world
politics, economy, and culture, and also my classmates and teacher. For those
who care about philosophy and human nature. My issue exploration essay was
intended for an audience who cared about the planets future regarding clean
energy. To educate people on the argument on nuclear energy and its place in
this planets future.

For my narrative essay, I had begun with the goals of being able to explain
my feelings and environment as clearly as I could. I have had a difficult time
being able to express myself in words, but this essay has helped me with that. My
goal for the rhetorical analysis was to be able to really take apart the paper and
what the original author wanted to say to the audience. To look at future papers
the same way of looking at how the author reaches out to audiences. Issue
exploration page was to be able to research and source my research correctly. To
be able to explain the argument and issues regarding nuclear energy.

My literacy narrative, the revisions I made were to better explain my

emotions and the actual scenario. To help the audience hear it for the first time.
My revision for my rhetorical analysis was to better explain the authors use of
logos, pathos, and ethos. To give clear examples for the audience. My issue
exploration page I made heavy revisions to source correctly and explain the
viewpoints clearly and not mix them.

I have grown this semester as a writer by learning how to use logos,

pathos, and ethos to the readers and myself. To be able to analyze texts, and
articles with being able to see the intended purpose of the writer. I learned how to
source my research, and to explain my viewpoints in a more clear way for the
reader to see the argument. This class has helped me grow as a writer, and has
helped me become more literate in the english language.
