    HIT and RUN

    When I arrived he was in the street just barely alive.


    He looked into my eyes and said I don't want to die.
    I said an ambulance is coming, did you see who did it.
    He stared back through me and was gone in a minute.

    Some things in life happen in seconds, just a flash of time.


    But are etched in your memory as another of humanities crimes..
    The guilty party knows who they are and the wrong that they did.
    They will live forever with their deed that they hide in their crib.
