How can we better analyze the experiences of women in the Holocaust? We already have
books and articles on the experiences of people in the Holocaust, but this is not enough women
in the Holocaust suffered as both women and as Jews. Thus we need to look at how these
factors combine to create their experiences in the Holocaust. Through the lens of
Intersectionality we can look at and combine these experiences. Intersectionality is the idea that
people have complex identities that intersect with different marginalized groups and that because
of this everyone has as unique experience to the groups that from their identities.
