Topic: Countdown to Holiday Break

Grade Level: Elementary Special Education

Description: I decided to do individual bulletin boards for my students because it

is easier for them to focus on activities when they are specific to them. So, I made
each student their own board with their name and snowflakes representing the days
left until holiday break. Each day the students get to remove a snowflake until
they have none left, meaning that it is finally holiday break.

Materials Used: Paper, borders, Velcro, letters

How it relates to the curriculum: By doing this activity the students are able to
work on counting the snowflakes to represent the days left as well as counting
down the days until break. This relates to the curriculum because we are working
on improving their counting skills.
