    UnitedStatessegregationsituationforalmostahundredyearsevenafter
    theirreleasefromslavery.AfricanAmericansweretreatedverypoorly,
    evenafterbeingfreedfromslavery.Therewerelawspassedinthesouth
    calledTheJimCrowLaws,andtheywerelawsthatmadeitsoAfrican
    Americanpeoplecouldbetreatedlikesecondclasscitizens.Thismade
    beingfreestillhorrendousifyouwereanAfricanAmerican.
    Inmyopinion,NativeAmericansweretreatedworsethanthe
    AfricanAmericans.AfricanAmericansweresegregatedandbeatbut
    rarelykilled.NativeAmericanswerekilledallthetimefortheircompletely
    justifiedactsofrebellionandtheywereremovedfromtheirhomeswhen
    caucasianpeoplewenttosettlethewestinCalifornia.Whenthis
    happened,andtheSettlerstriedtoremovetheNativeAmericansfrom
    theirland,theNativeAmericanswerekilled.Slaughteredbythe
    hundreds,allofthemwerekilledifresistancewasputup.However,if
    theylefttheirhomesandmovedintothereservationssetforthem,they
    wouldnotbemurdered.Theyhadalsobeenstarvedtodeath,traveled
    untiltheirfeetbled,andwatchedtheirbelovedbuffalo,thathad
    sustainedthemforsolong,bekilledbythethousandsforsport,leather,
    coats,andshoes.
    Womenwereconsideredsecondclasscitizensforasfarbackas
    peoplewerecreated.Beforewomenwereconsideredequaltheywere
    cleaners,cookers,childcaretakers,maids,andalmosttookovertheslave
    laboroncealltheslaveshadbeenfreed.
