Subject: Delayed Shipments

Hello Sir,
I regret to inform you that I have three late shipments to important customers. This is not an ideal
situation to be in and I fully take the blame for this. Apart from me personally misplacing the
customer paper orders, there were other factors that took effect.
There were many reasons that led to this unfortunate situation.
-

Ran out of packaging supplies.


Many warehouse crew members became sick.
Garment vendor workers were on strike last week.
Computer order system was hit with a virus.
Fedex is behind on shipping, due to Christmas Peak.

This is no excuse but I do have a solution to complete the shipments. I have emergency funds
and resources at my disposal that will aid me in getting the shipments delivered. I will hire
temporary labor and use other vendor and shipping companies. In order to prevent my same
mistakes I have added a new anti-virus system, prepared extra funds for extra shipping
companies, and put in new hygiene rules to minimize illness.
I assure you that this wont happen again. I only ask for another chance and trust that I can fix
this current situation. I am confident my plan will work and that my precautions will be affective.
I look forward you giving the good news of our completed shipments by January 6.
