RESEARCH PROJECT

TOPIC

Do students achieve more by

working in a group or
individually?

HYPOTHESIS

I think students will achieve more

individually because they will be
more focused.

SURVEY

I chose a survey to collect students

opinions and their perspectives on
working in a group and working
individually.
My survey can be found with the link
below:

SPREADSHEET

These are the people who took my survey and the results to
the questions:

Most people said that they consider themselves to be a
social person and that they like working with others in
class. However, they also said that they are more focused
when working individually and their grades suffer when
working in groups.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion my hypothesis was correct. Most students

achieve more when they work individually. I know this
because 76.2% of people said they are more productive
individually. Also 71.4% of the people said that their grade
decreased when they have to work in groups.
