SUBJECT:

English 220 Course Evaluation

This memo reflects my experiences and outcomes for English 220, Professional Business
Communications, during the Fall 2015 Semester at LDS Business College. I would like to
share my appreciation for the valuable learning opportunities and feedback that I have
received.
I have identified the three most helpful elements in this course that have helped me to learn.
o The SkyMountain scenarios provide consistent, applicable, and relevant business
settings for the different communication products.
o The online environment provides some freedom in time management, which has
increased my motivation to learn and to produce quality products.
o The information resources and different exercises are useful stand-alone elements, but
also encourage integrated learning to prepare for the final writing product of the units.
My suggestion is to finish this course with the mock interview and thereby reduce, moreover
than to increase, the workload for the last two weeks of the semester. This would include to
present all the assignments from units 13 and 14, that do not directly relate to delivering or
evaluating the mock interview, earlier in the course.
In completing this Professional Business Communications course, I am confident that the
grade I deserve is an A. I have applied communication principles from the course both
verbally and in writing. My learning products proof this and show that I have been involved
continually. Likewise, I have produced and revised multiple documents in order to reach
professional excellence.
