Summary
Many of us as Arabs still repeating what our enemy wanted us to say and to
believe, That the Palestinians are sold their land to Jewish settlers, and to correct that
grave historical mistake we should go back and trace the foundations of Jewish
settlement in Palestine during the British Mandate, which saw the most active period of
the settlement movement. and analyzing the foundations and objectives of the British
policy in connection with land ownership, Which made to achieve the main objective of
the British Mandate 'Creating the conditions for the establishment of a Jewish national
home in Palestine', as was written in "Balfour Declaration" and the 6th Article of the
Mandate.
To achieve that target, The British administration worked to take advantage of
all the powers available as mandated, without any delay The British enable Jews from
owning the available lands in Palestine.
On its variety, and its different articles, The land regulations witch issued by the
mandate government was one of the most important ways of Titling the Jews Land of
Palestine. And the first of it issued In September 1920, That's three months After the
formation of civil administration, After that other regulations were issued, Part of it was
directly linked to the land issue, And other part was achieves the same objective by
another means, Such as the Jewish concessions. According to which stated Above, The
Main concern of this research it's to clarify the injustice which the Palestinian had
suffered, By studying the role of these regulations in increasing the Jewish properties,
And trying to determine the British responsibility for the transfer of those spaces from
the original owners to the hands of the Jews.
