T thc t ging dy v kho st nghin cu i vi hc sinh THPT, ti
cho rng vic dy v hc k nng ni cha th hin mt kt qu kh quan. a
s hc sinh cn min cng trong giao tip ting anh. i tng hc sinh trung
bnh yu khng cm thy thu ht, hng th trong cc gi hc ni. So vi cc
th thut khc p dng trong vic ging dy k nng ni, th thut kch c
cho l mt trong nhng th thut th v nht i vi hc sinh, nhng vn cha
c quan tm ch nhiu. Cc em hc sinh s gi v l ngi khc trong cc
tnh hung thc t c a vo lp hc. Chnh cng vic ny kch thch cc
em khng nhng pht trin nng lc giao tip m bn cnh cc em cn pht
trin c nhiu cc nng lc khc nh: nng lc sng to, nng lc hng
bin, nng lc hp tc theo cp nhm Chnh v vy ti xin gii thiu mt
ti sng kin kinh nghim mang tn: Pht trin nng lc hc sinh THPT bng
cch p dng th thut din kch trong ging dy k nng ni Ting Anh

Sau khi nghin cu v p dng ti trn vo thc t ging day ti trng


THPT, ti cng thu c nhng kt qu khng nh. Trc ht, vic s dng th
thut ng kch trong ging dy k nng ni cng c cho hc sinh cc phm tr
ngn ng giao tip, vn ha giao tip ca ngi phng Ty ni chung v cc
t nc ni ting anh ni ring. Vic xy dng tnh hung ph hp vi ni
dung, nhim v cng th hin qua nng lc t chc, sp xp vai v bi cnh.
Hc sinh pht trin s sng to trong cc hot ng rn luyn k nng ni theo
hng tch cc to ra s hng th, t tin khi din dt ngn ng ting anh trong
mt tnh hung giao tip c th. Th thut kch p dng trong cc tit ni ting
anh ca hc sinh va to ra mt khng kh th gin vui v, va p ng nhim
v yu cu ca bi hc. Hc sinh ho hng lm bi tp nhm nh v coi l
c hi c th hin kh nng t hc, t nh gi k nng giao tip qua vic
s dng thit b cng ngh quay li qu trnh hc ni ca mnh.
Qua y, ti cng mnh dn a ra xut vi cc cp c thm quyn v
vic gio vin c th linh hot thay i nhim v ca mt s bi hc trong sch
gio khoa vi mc ch a ra cc tnh hung gn gi d hiu cho hc sinh m
vn m bo mc tiu bi hc. Da trn gi tr thit thc ca ti ny ti
mong nhn c s ng h t pha cc ng nghip trong vic p dng rng ri
vi tt c hc sinh.

1. Hon cnh ny sinh sng kin


Ting Anh hin nay c coi l iu kin quan trng trong qu trnh hi
nhp t nc. Chnh v vy nhu cu hc ting anh v s dng ting anh nh
mt ngn ng th 2 ang tr thnh mt mc tiu ln i vi gii tr hin nay.
Hc sinh THPT ch trng n hc ting anh theo nh hng pht trin nng
lc k nng nghe ni c vit theo chun quc t. Tuy nhin, thc trng hc
ting anh b ng nghing v ng php, cha ch trng n giao tip vn l
mt ro cn ln cho s pht trin ca b mn ny. Chnh v vy, theo ti vic
dy v hc ting anh theo ng li giao tip l cn thit. Cc k nng c,
nghe, ni v vit u c th vn dng phng php trn. c bit k nng ni
phi c nghin cu ngi dy c th pht huy cao kh nng giao tip ca
hc sinh, pht trin nng lc ton din ca hc sinh theo nh hng chung
hin nay.
Nng lc giao tip ting anh mi hc sinh l khc nhau. Ti cc lp ti
ging dy, c hc sinh hc ng php ting anh rt kh nhng khi giao tip qua
cc tit speaking li rt hn ch. Tri li, c nhng hc sinh c th ng php em
cha gii nhng trong giao tip em rt t tin v truyn t hiu qu ni dung.
Vy lm th no tng cng kh nng giao tip cho hc sinh trong khi cc
tit hc ting anh trn lp cha p ng c? Giao tip ting Anh trong cuc
sng hng ngy tr nn rt quan trng hay ni ting anh phi gn vi cuc sng
i thng gn gi vi hc sinh mi tht s hiu qu. Chng hn khi cc em
tho lun v mt cuc thi va c xem hay tham gia theo yu cu ca Unit 6
Competion English 11, gio vin c th a ra tnh hung tht v mt cuc
thi bng nm n truyn thng va mi din ra ti trng THPT Hng Quang
cho mng ngy ph n Vit Nam trng hp vi thi im hc bi hc trn.
Hc sinh hon ton c th tr li c cc cu hi nh: where and when did it
happen? Who organized it? What was it held for? Thm ch l what were the

kin thc lin mn trong hc vic hc Ting Anh. Chnh v vy, ti quyt tm
vit sng kin kinh nghim vi ti: S dng th thut kch trong ging dy

pht trin ton din nng lc hc sinh THPT

2.1. Tng quan vn nghin cu
K nng ni l mt k nng quan trng trong hc ting anh. Tuy nhin,
thc trng ging dy Ting Anh Vit Nam cho thy rng y l k nng hc
sinh thng b qua v hc khng tt mc d h c kin thc ng php kh tt.
Hc sinh cn rt th ng trong cc hot ng giao tip bng Ting Anh. ci
thin k nng ni cho hc sinh, gio vin c th a ra rt nhiu cc th thut
nhm thc y cc hot ng giao tip. ng kch c coi l mt phng
php ph bin c p dng ti cc lp hc ting anh nh mt ngoi ng th
hai.

Theo Jemery Harmer (1986): ng vai c s dng dy k nng

Irene Y. Huang (2008) trong mt nghin cu ca b v cc k nng giao
tip kt lun rng: ng kch thc s l mt kinh nghim hc tp ng gi
cho c hc sinh v gio vin. Sinh vin khng ch c nhiu c hi hot ng,
tng tc vi nhau c gng s dng ting anh m k nng ni, nghe, c,
vit cng c ci thin. ng kch lm si ng khng kh hc tp v mang
li sc sng cho cc lp hc ni. Hc sinh s hc cch s dng ngn ng mt
cch thc t hn. V vy h c th tr nn thc hn v tnh hu dng v tnh
thc tin ca ting anh. y tht s l mt k thut ging dy hu ch cn c
th nghim v p dng thng xuyn hn bi cc gio vin dy ting anh nh

As Larsen-Freeman pointed out in her book "Techniques and Principles
in Language Teaching", "Role-plays are very important in the Communicative
Approach because they give students an opportunity to practice communicating
in different social contexts and in different social roles." (p. 137, LarsenFreeman)

nh Home speaking Assignment theo thng, theo qu hay mt hc k. Hc
sinh pht huy ti a tnh t hc, kh nng t nh gi kt qu bi luyn tp ca
mnh t vic s dng thit b cng ngh quay li qu trnh hc ni. Qua va

th hin tnh hp tc ca hc sinh trong mt nhm va th hin s cnh tranh


gia cc nhm vi nhau t c kt qu cao. Hc sinh trung bnh yu c c

2.2. Khi nim c bn
2.2.1. Khi nim v din kch
V nh ngha, din kch tc l ng vai mt ngi khc c t
trong mt vn cnh c th hay mt tnh hung c th, ngi tham gia din
kch c a ra mt hi thoi tip nhn ni dung din. Tuy nhin, hot

According to Brown (2001), "role-play minimally involves (a) giving a
role to one or more members of a group and (b) assigning an objective or
purpose that participants must accomplish." Brown suggested role-play can be
conducted with a single person, in pairs or in groups, with each person
assigned a role to accomplish an objective. (p. 183)
Role-plays give students the opportunity to demonstrate how to use
English in real life situations and make them focus more on communication
than on grammar

hc ni. Qua nghin cu, vic p dng th thut ng kch trong ging dy k
nng ni mang ti nhng hiu qu ni bt nh:
- Th thut din kch pht huy tr tng tng tng ca hc sinh, kh nng
din xut (personal performance) ca ngi hc ngoi ng
- Th thut ny cn gip ngi hc hiu su, rng hn cc phm tr ngn ng
cuc sng.

- Th thut ny cng gp phn pht huy nhng phm cht, k nng sng, nng
lc ca ngi hc thng qua chnh cc tnh hung giao tip lin quan
Trc khi tin hnh mt hot ng kch, gio vin cn m bo nhng
yu cu sau:
- a ra ch giao tip v hnh thnh cc nhm hc sinh ph hp
- Cung cp mt s t vng cu trc lin quan
- Khch l cc em to ra cc tnh hung gn gi cuc sng, hay v th
v. Hng cc em t c 3 mc tiu t ra l: How to open the
conversation (pht huy tr tng tng), how to focus on the topic
given (vn dng kin thc hc), how to end the conversation (Th
hin s linh hot khn kho khi thc hin giao tip)

Tm li, da trn nn tng l lun v nhng nghin cu trc y ta
thy c tnh hiu qu cng nh tnh thc thi ca k thut ng vai trong
ging dy k nng ni ngn ng th hai l tch cc. Chnh v vy, p dng th
thut trn nhm ci thin k nng ni cho ngi hc ngoi ng l cn thit
kch thch s hng th, li cun ca h vo cc hot ng giao tip.
3. Thc trng dy v hc k nng ni trng THPT
3.1. Thc trng dy v hc ni ting anh ti cc lp ging dy
Quan st hc sinh trong cc gi hc ni, ti thy rng hc sinh lun th
ng theo sch gio khoa, ch dng ch bt chic hay c to hi thoi trong
sch ch cha nghin ngm ni dung hay ghi nh c kin thc thu nhn
c. V d: Gio vin a ra yu cu hc sinh lm nhm 2 bn, mt bn hi
mt bn tr li. Sau thi gian quy nh, c gio gi tng cp hc sinh ng dy
ni trc lp. Kt qu hc sinh cm tay quyn sch gio khoa v chia nhau c.

m cha hiu ni dung giao tip. In fact, the English instruction in some
High Schools does not demonstrate a satisfactory result. Many students fail
to reach the goal of the English teaching. They are not able to communicate
with the language either orally or in written form although they have
learned English for many years. Many of the learners in a speaking class are
reluctant speakers. This reluctance is partly due to their prior learning
experience. Many of them were educated in a large class in schools situated
in noisy neighborhoods where opportunities to speak are severely limited.
Others were taught in schools where speaking was simply not encouraged.
(Lestari, 2000: 27).

Trc thc trng dy v hc ting anh hin nay khng mang li hiu qu
tch cc, vic i mi phng php dy v hc mn ngoi ng ny, c bit l
k nng ni l cn thit. Hc sinh c dy ting anh theo ng hng giao
tip. Cc th thut c vn dng kch thch kh nng giao tip ca hc sinh
nh cu hi gi m, t vn v gii quyt vn S dng th thut kch
trc ht nhm to ra khng kh hc tp si ni, gy hng th i vi hc sinh.

ni v nh khin cc em t tin hn, mnh dn hn trong giao tip ting anh.

4.1.

Nguyn tc xut gii php:


- V pha gio vin cn tng cng hiu bit v ngh thut kch v
nhn thc c vai tr ca cc hot ng kch trong vic y mnh
kh nng ni ting anh ca hc sinh. Qua , t chc v khai thc cc
hot ng kch hp l, ph hp vi tng bi hc v tng i tng
hc sinh. Gio vin cn kim tra, nh gi hiu qu ca vic p dng
th thut kch trong vic khai thc pht trin nng lc ton din ca
hc sinh. Bn cnh , s hiu bit v cng ngh thng tin l rt cn
thit trong vic kim tra nh gi bi tp ni nh ca hc sinh.
- V pha hc sinh cn tch cc, ch ng tham gia vo cc hot ng
trong bi hc, mnh dn by t kin. Th thut trn i hi hc sinh
phi c tr tng tng, sng to trong vic to ra nhng tnh hung
thc tin v gii quyt tnh hung bng cch nng lc giao tip

4.2. Cc gii php thc hin
4.2.1. To tnh hung giao tip. (Create communicating situations)
Kch bn l yu t quan trng trong mt v kch. Xy dng kch bn
gm c to ra cc tnh hung thc tin, phn vai din i hi hc sinh phi c
s sng to, s tng tng phong ph. Cc i tng trong mt mt giao tip
