Marking criteria:
To successfully complete the one task for Assessment Event One the following must
be present in your response:

Chooses a group of individuals in the workplace suitable for a small group

Plans one activity/program over five sessions, for 15 to 20 minutes duration,

for this group of individuals

Adheres to relevant legislation and organisational policies and procedures

Chooses appropriate interests, preferences and beliefs of group members

Discusses five group skills used to ensure individual outcomes are met during
this group leisure experience.
Evaluates the outcomes for the group session

Provides detailed and appropriate documentation to justify each clients

participation

Ensures each group session recognises abilities and limitations of individuals

and suits the size and composition of the group
Maximises involvement of all group members
Identifies three possible risks to impede group activities success
Adjusts the plan to minimise the possible risks identified
Confirms group session plan with supervisor/TAFE Assessor
Conducts one of the five group sessions in the workplace or TAFE simulated
learning environment

Presents documentation in a portfolio format

Includes a minimum of six resources relevant to the group in the portfolio
Presents their portfolio at a standard considered appropriate for a Certificate
IV qualified worker
