Emotions

This week we are learning:


Circle Time Review
For circle time this week I would
like to focus on some
conversational work. We will
begin our lessons by loosening up
with a song and dance and from
there I would like to go over the
conversational syllabus with the
students this includes, what is
your name, how old are you,
where do you live, how old are
you and how do you feel.

Activity Time
This week in activity, we will be focusing on our emotions and the sentence
structure in communicating how the students feel. These emotions that we will be
doing are key to communication at any level of language. We will be play acting
the emotions that are in the vocabulary as well as making paper plate happy sad
and angry faces.
Emotions: Happy, sad, angry, hungry, thirsty, sick, scared, love, sleepy, hot and
cold
Sentence structure: How do you feel? I am happy, sad, angry etc

Phonics
Review
In this week we will be
reviewing P, Q, R, S, T, U, V

New (letters/sounds/vocabulary)
There are no letters/sounds or vocabulary being introduced to MEP this
week as we will be reviewing due to the little amount of phonics this
class gets. It is best to keep going over the information they have until
they have retained it and are ready to move on.
