Relief of inflammation in oral mucosa, gingivitis, glossitis, stomatitis,
ulcers, dental surgery, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, after surgeries on the
oral mucosa, radiation, intubation mucositis.
Selectively binds to inflamed tissues; inhibits prostaglandin

synthetase, which enables the production of prostaglandin, a major


chemical messenger in the inflammation process; does not inihibit
cyclooxygenase and lipooxygenase, unlike NSAIDs, and does not
cause ulceration.
CNS: numbness, stinging sensation in area of contact
Skin: rash, swelling, itchiness, redness
Respiratory: wheezing, difficulty breathing
Do not use for children aged 12 years or under.
Mouthwash should be used as a rinse, and not swallowed; if
stinging occurs, may be diluted slightly with water.
Use should not exceed 7 days except under medical
supervision.
