COURSE DESCRIPTION
To explore the elements, principles and aesthetic concepts integral to three-dimensional
design and to consider relationships between concept, process, materials, tools and
technical skills.
COURSE OUTCOMES
The student will be able to:
1. Demonstrate the elements and principles of composition in three-dimensional space.
2. Apply innovative and creative application of 3D design theory.
3. Demonstrate multiple problem-solving using manipulative model making.
4. Apply ergonomics as a principle for shaping objects.
5. Demonstrate safe handling and usage of shop equipment and tools.
6. Utilize the computer as visualization tool.
