300 m. Find its area.
2. Sanya has a piece of land which is in the shape of a rhombus(see Fig1) . She
wants her one daughter and one son to work on the land and produce
different crops. She divided the land in two equal parts. If the perimeter of
the land is 400 m and one of the diagonals is 160 m, how much area each of
them will get for their crops?
3. Line-segment AB is parallel to another line-segment CD. O is the mid-point
of AD (see Fig2). Show that (i) AOB DOC (ii) O is also the midpoint of BC.
4. E and F are respectively the mid-points of equal sides AB and AC of ABC
(see Fig 3).Show that BF = CE.
5. In Fig. 4, ray OS stands on a line POQ. Ray OR and ray OT are
angle bisectors of POS

6. If a transversal intersects two lines such that the bisectors of a pair of

corresponding angles are parallel, then prove that the two lines are parallel.
