Compressor

The built in compressor is a c1assical design around a t rue optical center.

Introd uction

Contro lling is done by the so called sidechain, which is alway s routed to

the equalizer. This means that if you set up the equalizer, the compressor is
automatically tuned to the signal. Ope ration is very easy, only one control
does it all- "GAIN REDUCTION"

This control is responsible for the gain of the sidechain signal. Again this
controls the amount of compression. The more you t urn this control up,
the more compression you get - it's as simple as th at.

GAIN REDUCTION

If you set the VU meter to compression-mode you can see how hard the
compressor works . The display- indicator mov es from right to left then,
OVU = no compression.

The " O UTPUT" control adjusts the level to successive audio device(s).
Especially after hard compression you have to bring back level up again.
The "OUTPUT" control is always active, no matte r if t he equalizer or the
