We have science stream and accounts stream in KMK
For science stream we have 3 modules
Subject according to modules:
Module 1: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics
Module 2: Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics
Module 3: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics
Accounts: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics
Compulsory subjects for both streams: English, Kemahiran Dinamika, Pendidikan Moral and
Co-Curricular Activities
You will sit for Malaysian University English Test (MUET) in November as it is a prerequisite to
enter public universities
Science or accounts it is written on your offer letter
Every module is unique by itself and choose your module wisely because it may affect your
choice of courses for degree program
The college will assign you a module according to your SPM results and you don't have to
apply for it (for our session)
If you're not happy, just apply to switch between modules, and it all depends on the college
whether they approve or not
Note: Switching from science stream to accounts stream is allowed but accounts to science is
not allowed

The grades you get during your semester exam isn't 100% based on what you scored during
your finals
It comprises of Mid-Sem Test (UPS), Continuous Assessment (PB) (Quizzes and
Assignments) and also Practical (For Science students only)
While these elements bear a certain weightage towards your subject grades, the weightage
varies according to subjects
Nevertheless, Semester Exam still gives you the greatest weightage (70% and above)
All elements are equally important and students are usually advised to score maximum marks
for PB and Practical because it may affect your grades
Matriculation uses CGPA system where students are awarded with a maximum of CGPA 4.00
