This week we are learning:
Circle Time Review
In circle time this week I would
like to go through the songs for
the days of the week, the weather
and the months of the year as
well as do review of the units that
we have gone through over the
course of the year. These will be
specifically sea animals and
prepositions. I will also be
working briefly on conversational
sentence structure, My name is, I
happy, sad, I am from Nakhon Si

Occupation and
locations
Activity Time

This week we will be beginning a new unit. This unit is one that has a lot
of vocabulary as it is broken into two, Occupations and locations. I will
first be going through the occupations with the students by introducing
flashcards in an up down format we will then be playing games like the
sumo game and also the crocodile game. I dont think it would be
beneficial to go through occupations and locations simultaneously as this
may be confusing within one lesson so I think it would be best to break it
up into separate lessons. Once I have covered both occupations and
locations sufficiently I will then work on teaching the students about how
the occupations and locations go together. The policeman is at the police
station etc
Occupations: Doctor, Nurse, Teacher, Policeman, Fireman, Chef, Driver,
Pilot.
Locations: Hospital, school, house, park, zoo, market, playground

Phonics
Review
I have steadily been working
through the alphabet with the
students and I have been happy
with their progress in the names
and sounds of the letters. We
will continue to go through the
alphabet and workbook and as
soon as we are done I will begin
reviewing the letters and
vocabulary with the students

Sentence structure: Where is the policeman? He? She is at the police

station
New (letters/sounds/vocabulary)
This week we will be working through P, Q, R and S. We will be working through the workbook
learning the vocabulary in the flashcards which the students have been through before

Sight Words
No sight words until we have
completed the letters of the alphabet
