Texas to submit their artwork
of how they, along with their
friends and family, help keep
the air and water clean,
conserve water and energy,
and reduce waste. One grandprize winner will receive a
Samsung laptop, and 15
students will win a Samsung
tablet. The teacher of the
student who designs the
overall best artwork will also
be awarded a Samsung tablet.

K-5 students in Texas


Students submit a unique piece of artwork showing how they can
help Take Care of Texas. The artwork must be two-dimensional
but can be done with crayons, watercolor, paints, colored pencils,
and more. Artwork must be submitted on an 8.5x11 piece of
paper (landscape format is recommended). It must include the
slogan Take Care of Texas. Its the only one weve got. and
portray positive ways Texans can help keep our air and water
clean, conserve water and energy, and reduce waste.
Contest opens on January 4 and closes on March 2, 2016.
Winners will be announced on April 1, 2016.
Participants submit their artwork to the TCEQ, and each of the
TCEQs 16 regional offices will select a winner. See the map
below for locations. Of those 16 winners, one will be selected as
the grand-prize winner.
Win a Samsung tablet or laptop! One student, chosen from the
16 regional winners, will receive the grand prize a Samsung
laptop. The remaining 15 regional winners will each receive
a Samsung tablet. The teacher of the student who designs the
overall best artwork will also be awarded a Samsung tablet.
