    In 6th grade math this year we will be focusing on the Common Core State
    Standards for Mathematics for Grade 6. This year there will be a large focus on
    mastering operations with positive rational numbers, introducing algebraic concepts,
    and mastering an understanding of ratios. We will also discuss some geometry and
    data.
